Animal Oil & Fats Tank

An animal fats and oils tank, also known as a rendering tank, is a specialized storage vessel designed for the storage of animal-derived oils and fats, such as tallow and lard, obtained from rendering processes in meat processing facilities. These tanks are constructed from materials compatible with animal fats and oils, such as stainless steel, and are designed to withstand the unique properties of these substances, including high temperatures and varying viscosity. Proper insulation, heating, and agitation systems may be incorporated into these tanks to maintain the fluidity and quality of the stored fats and oils. Rendering tanks are important in the processing and storage of these animal-derived products before they are further refined or used in applications such as the production of animal feed, biofuels, or other industrial products.
